Weeknotes 26-20: PinkPantheress

I honestly forgot I was supposed to be writing my Copenhagen blog lmao. I’ve been busy!!!! Thankfully this and next week are far less busy so I can spend time working on a commissioned website for some friends since that needs to be done by the end of the month.

Tuesday I saw PinkPantheress with a bunch of people, suuuuper fun show! Terrible opener! Like actually bafflingly bad. Seemingly entirely lip-synced?? Otherwise such a great performance though, it’s rare that I go to that kind of concert, like where it feels very big and theatrical with costume changes and a moving stage and backup dancers. I love my Bands but this is a really nice experience too n_n

Wednesday I went to the screening of the 48 hour film I worked on, lots of other great submissions! My other favorites were The Heart of the Mad Mage and The House Always Knows, two wildly different short films (sadly neither on youtube or anything?? maybe once the winners are announced). Such a funny experience watching all of those and then going into the lobby and seeing the actors from the shorts, like a little micro-celebrity (lol)

Thursday was another pinball day, I did very poorly! But it was fun so it’s fine!

Saturday I went to Olivia’s friend’s place for a backyard production of Much Ado About Nothing, in which I played Seacoal. Sooooooo fun! Honestly every was great and it being all Shakespeare-y language means that no one feels weird about being a bad actor or whatever, like it made it easy to ham it up or be goofy with it. But then the people who got really into it were also great! I biked there which was 8 miles each way, most of the ride was on the bike paths which was amazing, but once I got into the suburb-y part of it I was thrown straight onto stroads that lead directly into an interstate highway and that is not fun to bike on as you might guess

Sunday was the MIT flea day where I sold like 200 dollars worth of stuff which was great. I was good and didn’t buy anything since I simply do not need more junk!!!! The only thing I got was a little glass bead charm keychain that someone was selling, since she was selling 50% tech stuff and 50% her art since the tabling fee is so much cheaper there than at the other art markets in the area lol. Had some insane interactions as always (like this dude at the start who was weirdly aggressive), and I saw someone who I hadn’t seen in like 8 years?? So crazy thinking about how long it’s been since I last saw him honestly……… Afterwards we went to third time and we all got the crunchwrap and I got the rice ice cream, all delicious.
