Weeknotes 26-37
Last full week before my vacation!! I feel like we’re starting to get the tiniest bit of fall weather, the mornings/evenings are cooling off a lot, like when I bike into work it’s borderline chilly (but I’m still wearing shorts). This summer was honestly pretty good weather-wise, though it’s sad that at this point I don’t think I’ll have made it to the beach at all!!!! Which is mostly just due to being so busy, but still!!
I went to the doctor for the first time in four years for a physical, as expected everything was fine but good to know officially I guess! I had blood drawn for tests and the person doing it was a student and I almost passed out from a combo of not eating at all that day and her missing my vein 😭
We played more Big Walk and I think we’re almost at the end!! We got inside the Xbox Series X (iykyk) and inserted the first two gourds in there, so there’s only four left and I think that’s it??? Really excited to finish but will also be sad to see it go, but maybe I’ll be able to join for some of Mariah’s sessions lol
I went to go see the movie Hope (2026), insane movie! Like actually kinda unbelievable the way that whole thing goes. Not particularly good but definitely a good time at the movies, you know. Makes me want to watch the director’s other very popular movie though, which I’ve heard better things about lol
Friday I went to see ISOxo with Jonah and Michelle, SOOO good!! Super glad I finally go to see him after the first time where I left before he went on lmao. Both openers were pretty good, Control Freak played a pretty heavy 2012 brostep set which honestly ruled. Crowd was such a classic EDM festival crowd, never seen so many buff guys in black tank tops before lol. This woman next to me at one point was ripping her vape that at first I thought was a camcorder because of how huge it was. Actually kinda wild how young the crowd was, like lots of Xs on the hands, I have to assume mostly because school just started so it’s all the festival-going BU students. His set was like 1h45m which was soooo much longer than I expected but I’m so glad it was!! BUT that also meant that I was out until like 12:30 and didn’t fall asleep until past 1, and then the next day I had to get up early!!
The same group + Brina took the train to Providence to see The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX! Fun day hanging out at the mall like a bunch of teens, Michelle and I got some Chiikawa plushies :3c The actual movie was good, this was my third time seeing it, so it was really just for the novelty of 70mm IMAX. Which, I kinda get! I wish it wasn’t filmed entirely on that, but I appreciate the spectacle of it.
Sunday I went to go see Filipiñana with Snow, good chill time and much needed after a non-stop two days before 🙂↕️
